Custom Processing and Co-Manufacturing Capabilities
We have been custom processing and co-manufacturing seafood in Seattle since 1981. Our plant’s core capabilities include breaded, battered, crab, steaks, portions, and a complete range of equipment options and packaging solutions. With 77,000 square feet of space, Orca Bay’s processing plant can handle both large and small volumes and a wide variety of value added processing. We have all major safety, quality, and sustainability certifications. Processing is available for seafood and battered and breaded vegetables, as well as vegan and meat substitute products. Breaded, Battered, & Par-fried
With two production lines, we have the capability for both breading and battered items, from raw breaded, par-fried, breaded fish and vegetables.

We have a large range of packaging sizes, (from as small as 5 oz to 10 lb & up), shapes (retail bags, retail and food service boxes) and configurations (vacuum packed and tray packed).

Whether fresh or frozen, full processing or portioning, our items are customized to fit your every need. Fresh processing includes head, gut, clean, fillet, and pack for fresh or frozen sales or thaw and fillet including skin on/off, pin bone in/out, portioned, IQF, or prepared for further processing or packaging.

Beyond simply processing, we offer more services to make sure your products achieve the highest quality standards, such as work order costing, a full quality assurance program with reporting and product traceability recording, metal detection and standard micro-testing (environmental, total plate counts (TPC), coliform, e-coli, staphylococcus, salmonella).

Specialty Equipment / Facility Offerings
Our location and facility are unique in that we are able to offer special benefits such as dry good storage, warehousing and inventory management. Our facility has industrial flake ice production and 9 blast freezing tunnels and related freezing racks to keep your fish fresher.
