Pink Salmon

If flaky and unassertive is what you’re after (and many folks are) then pink salmon is a natural choice. The lions-share of this fish goes to the canned market but more and more of the choicest catch is being filleted for the home cook & restaurants. Pink is a nice change-up to the richer sockeye and like all salmon, it’s simply healthy.

These outstanding swordfish steaks come with skin-on & many will display the signature mustache – a curved whisp of darker flesh that travels down the loin and graces each steak. The swordfish originate in South east Asia & Orca Bay goes to great lengths verifying the chain of custody in every load that we source.

We have all seen tilapia capture a big marketing in relatively short time. It’s a clear success – tons of people love their fish super-mild & flaky & the advances in aquaculture are enormous. The quality of the tilapia today has never been better as we see more & more farms in natural bodies of water and moving estuaries.

Yellowfin Tuna

These lean & delicious tuna steaks are sourced from a variety of reliable harvesters across the globe & the steaking takes place at facilities totally adherent to “the Orca Bay way”. ¬†Our retail pack¬†features tuna exclusively sourced from artisinal handline fisheries – a more selective & sustainable harvesting method.

Pacific Ocean Perch

Pacific Ocean Perch fillets are cut from a wide variety of fish sizes so a bag will tend to have more individual pieces than, say, a bag of Orca Bay salmon. This is actually a plus for the home cook – the fillets cook up with speedy ease & the smaller fillets are ideal for fish tacos, fish & chips, & seafood stews. Awesome “fast meal” fish.
