Later in Spring 2015, Orca Bay will have a line of 5 oz, single portioned Alaska Cod and Keta Salmon, rubbed with delicious flavor combinations from Maple Bourbon and Garlic & Red Pepper. Rubs are great not only for their versatility but also because they pack a lot of flavor without added fat.

Make your rub creations and try it on your favorite Orca Bay fish filet (salmon, cod, halibut, flounder, ahi tuna, tilapia, ocean perch, and mahi mahi).

red chili powder, dried cilantro (can use fresh!), and fresh squeezed lime

Combine the above ingredients. Cover the fish with the spice mixture and gently rub it in to release the flavor. You can preserve any extra rub for use later (minus the lime juice). Let the rub settle in for an hour to overnight; saute, grill, or bake!
